Beads,Beads,And More Beads

Krissa spent the day making jewelry......she had 3 jewelry craft kits with beads,wires,cords and other things.....she loves the crafting as much as me.....she is always drawing me little pictures and making cards for us........she writes little books and staples them together to keep....she is such a sweetie....so thought I'd share some of her jewelry with you......

Here is a friend that helped her for awhile...of course she had to make a little something for her too, Krissa adores this girl and enjoys it when she comes to visit...

quite the little crafter.....I'm so proud of her,I think she did a great job!!

summer time is great..but leaves me little time for crafting or sewing..hmmm...maybe she'll keep me supplied with crafting things to put on here when I don't have anything much to post....

of course when we went to the store we both had to wear her earrings! Looked so cool....

we also made some digital scrapbook pages with the pictures...she helped me pick out the background for them too....I'll add more to them later but wanted to go ahead and post them for you to see....

Hummingbirds

I love hummingbirds....they are so dainty when they flutter around the garden.......

had some glass pieces with hummingbirds on them....why not put them together.... ...think it will go on my porch....not sure yet....

aren't those the sweetest little flowers......this piece was a toothbrush holder.....just glued some flat sided marbles on the top to keep moisture from getting inside....

and look at these beautiful hummingbirds...don't they make an awesome bottom for this little glass totem....

still have tons of glass so played so more.....

a candle holder made from odds and ends..... hard to tell from the pic but there is the cutest little angel inside.....

Monday,Monday

It's monday and officially the start of summer break from school. Our last day of school was friday and now its time for skinned knees, scraped toes, poison ivy and bug bites....and that's just since friday..lol......

I am just a summertime person.....spring is good and fall is ok....but give me summer anytime...

Snow and ice are good while we are playing in it....snowballs,snowmen,snowfights....love all that but why cant it just melt and be done with it after a couple of hours.....

Have spent the last 2 days changing my living room around again, and again....about 4 times in the last 2 weeks.....guess I'm in one of those moods when I just cant seem to get it right.....so decided to break away from it for awhile and show you some of the things in my home that I love no matter what......(especially when its attached to skinned knees!!!)......

Cute little things by my back door, paid a quarter each for them last fall...you can judge the size by the lightswitch in the corner of the photo....

Love this, and only paid $1.00 for it.....wish I could always find sweet bargains like this....

Just a few of the salt and pepper shakers that I collect, with a few old spice tins thrown in. Hmmm,wonder why we can never seem to find the salt shaker when its time to eat....
